BELLE OF THE FALL PRESENTS:
Garfunkel to Graceland—A Tribute to the Songs of Paul Simon
Garfunkel to Graceland is a heartfelt tribute to the timeless songwriting of Paul Simon. The show, performed by international touring act Belle of the Fall, features the songs of Simon & Garfunkel as well as Simon’s incomparable body of solo work up to the album Graceland.
Tracing a musical journey from the intimate folk harmonies of Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. to the rhythm-infused brilliance of Graceland, the show honors one of the most influential folk duos—and artistic evolutions—in popular music.
In 2015, Julia Autumn Ford and Tracy Walton joined forces to form Belle of the Fall. Julia brought a love of new wave and psychedelic pop—inspired by bands like Talking Heads and The Zombies, while Tracy’s influences included blues, experimental rock, and art rock such as David Bowie and Tom Waits. Touring throughout the US, they discovered a mutual love for the songs of Simon & Garfunkel. To pass the time on long drives, they gave themselves a challenge—master one classic Simon & Garfunkel song on each long tour, with meticulous attention to arrangement and pristine two-part harmony. 20 tours later, the set list was ready for this loving tribute show.
With soaring vocal harmonies, and a deep respect for the material, Belle of the Fall masterfully re-creates classics including “The Boxer,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and “Mrs. Robinson,” alongside solo favorites such as “Still Crazy After All These Years,” “American Tune,” and “Graceland.”
Audiences have called the performance “a love letter to Paul Simon’s music, written live on stage”, saying that it “feels like stepping back inside the music we grew up with.” While the vocal harmonies are a note-for-note recreation, the concert itself offers a fresh interpretation that honors the spirit and poetry of the original recordings, creating an immediate connection with today’s audiences. Garfunkel to Graceland is an intimate and uplifting concert experience that resonates across generations.
Stunning harmonies and fresh, thoughtful arrangements take the audience on a journey from iconic folk classics to the rich, rhythmic sound of Paul Simon’s later work, celebrating one of the most beloved songbooks in modern music.
